2021 Delinquent Property Tax List & Tax Lien Sale Information

Talladega County recently issued the following announcement on March 16.

The following list below is delinquent property as of March 16, 2022.  

2021 Delinquent Property Tax List  

Important Dates Leading Up to the Tax Lien Sale

  • The last day to pay with a check is March 31, 2022.  After this day the only payment accepted is cash, cashiers check, money order or card.
  • The last day to pay property tax is April 29, 2022.  Payments can be taken at all locations through April 29, 2022.   Anything not paid by this date (April 29, 2022) is considered tax lien sale property and must be redeemed. 
  • On line payments will also be shut down on April 29, 2022. 
  • The tax lien sale is on May 3, 2022.  Registration is required for all individuals who will participate in the lien sale.  Registrations opens April 1, 2022 . You can register up until the day of the auction.   Click here for registration instructions.
