City of Jacksonville issued the following announcement.

City of Jacksonville Scholarships Submission Deadline

Friday, April 8, 2022 (All day)

We’re pleased to announce a set of five scholarships made possible by the joint efforts of the City of Jacksonville and the Jacksonville City Schools Board of Education! There are five scholarships available:

Eligibility requirements are listed in each individual scholarship description.

City of Jacksonville First Generation College Student Scholarship
City of Jacksonville First Responders Student Scholarship
City of Jacksonville Healthcare Scholarship
City of Jacksonville Leadership Scholarship
City of Jacksonville Technical Scholarship
Applications are due April 8, 2022.  Students must submit the application and all supporting documents to Sara Underwood, Jacksonville High School guidance counselor, at sunderwood@jcsboe.org. No incomplete applications will be accepted. Questions from students can be directed to Mrs. Underwood at 256-782-8854.
