The Coosa County Sheriff’s Office reported a total jail population of 45 inmates as of November 23, 2025, consisting of 38 males and 7 females. During the week of November 17 to November 23, several arrests were made on various charges.
On November 17, Deputy Moeser arrested Toney Lamar Hall from Kellyton, Alabama, for Domestic Violence in the Third Degree. Hall was processed into the Coosa County Jail with a $2,500 bond.
On November 19, Deputy Kelley arrested Jennifer Lynn Pugh and Allen Albert Golden, both from Alexander City, Alabama, each on charges of Domestic Violence in the Third Degree. Both were processed with $2,500 bonds.
Also on November 19, Deputy Payton arrested Robert Charles Kelley and Donald Chase Ray from Sylacauga, Alabama. Both faced charges of Attempting to Elude a Police Officer and were processed with $2,500 bonds.
On November 21, Deputy Payton arrested Bailey Austin Camp from Lineville, Alabama for Criminal Trespassing in the Third Degree. Camp was processed with a $500 bond.
On November 22, Deputy Moeser arrested Kentavious Jamal Miles from Valley, Alabama on multiple charges including three counts of Burglary in the Third Degree and theft-related offenses. Miles was processed into jail with a $28,000 bond.
On November 23, Deputy Kelley arrested Jason Reed Herringdine from Sylacauga for two counts of Domestic Violence in the Third Degree. Herringdine was processed into jail awaiting bond.
Deputies responded to various calls for service across different communities during this period. These included reports of thefts under investigation in Stewartville and Goodwater; suspicious persons and vehicles; harassment; criminal mischief; citizen assists; disabled motorists; domestic disputes; fraud investigations; animal-related calls; trespassing; civil disturbances; juvenile matters; burglary investigations in Kellyton; and mental health assistance cases in Rockford.
Reports were taken where necessary for ongoing investigations or information purposes. In several instances involving suspicious persons or vehicles or civil disturbances across areas such as Stewartville and Mt Olive, deputies either made negative contact or determined that no report was needed after assessing the situation.
The Sheriff’s Office continues to investigate active cases related to thefts and burglaries reported during this week.
