Mike Rogers, a longstanding member of the U.S. Congress representing Alabama’s 3rd district since 2003, recently took to social media to express his views and support for legislative developments. Rogers, who succeeded Bob Riley in Congress, has had an extensive political career that includes service in the Alabama House of Representatives and the Calhoun County Commission.

On May 20, 2025, Rogers tweeted about widespread backing for a legislative initiative known as “The One Big, Beautiful Bill.” He emphasized its broad support across various sectors by stating: “Don’t just take my word for it. The One Big, Beautiful Bill has strong support from all sectors!”

Two days later, on May 22, 2025, Rogers shared his optimism with a brief message: “One big, beautiful morning!” This tweet appears to convey a positive outlook on current events or legislative progress.

In another post on the same day at a later time, Rogers commended key political figures for their achievements despite skepticism from others. He remarked: “They keep doubting @SpeakerJohnson and @POTUS, and they keep getting it done.” This statement highlights his support for Speaker Johnson and President Biden’s efforts.

Rogers was born in Hammond, Indiana in 1958 and currently resides in Weaver. His educational background includes a BA from Jacksonville State University and a JD from Birmingham School of Law.
