U.S. Representative Mike Rogers of Alabama’s 3rd district has expressed his support for two pro-life bills, the Pregnant Students’ Rights Act and the Supporting Pregnant and Parenting Women and Families Act. His remarks were made during the week of the annual March for Life event in Washington.
Rogers, who has served in Congress since 2003 after succeeding Bob Riley, was recently given an A+ rating by SBA Pro-Life for 2025. He previously served in the Alabama House of Representatives from 1994 to 2002 and on the Calhoun County Commission from 1987 to 1990.
“As many Alabamians gather on the National Mall today in support of the lives of the unborn, I am proud to re-affirm my commitment to pro-life policies,” said Rep. Rogers. “In the past year, this movement has become especially precious to me as my family welcomed our first grandchild. I remain firmly on the side of life and Alabama remains firmly on the side of life. I will always defend the lives of the most innocent among us, and I look forward to continuing this work in Congress in 2026.”
Rogers was born in Hammond, Indiana in 1958 and currently resides in Weaver. He earned a BA from Jacksonville State University in 1981 and a JD from Birmingham School of Law in 1991.
