Census Bureau: More women than men in Talladega County in 2019

Of the 80,387 people living in Talladega County in 2019, 51.7 percent (41,561) were women and 48.3 percent (38,826) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the EC Alabama News.

Females 18 and over outnumbered males in the same age group by a ratio of 25,225-to-23,853. In the 65 and over age range, there were 7,768 females and 6,284 males.
