Census Bureau: More women than men in Ashland town in 2019

Of the 1,447 people living in Ashland town in 2019, 55.4 percent (802) were women and 44.6 percent (645) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the EC Alabama News.

Females 18 and over outnumbered males in the same age group by a ratio of 454-to-394. In the 65 and over age range, there were 275 females and 122 males.
