Of the 2,501 people living in Lineville city in 2020, 52.3 percent (1,308) were women and 47.7 percent (1,193) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the EC Alabama News.

Females 18 and over outnumbered males in the same age group by 89. In the 65 and over age range, there were 330 females and 247 males.
