America’s most celebrated “helpful place” is celebrating its grand opening this weekend, Friday and Saturday, in Sylacauga, Alabama.

Sylacauga Ace Hardware is located at 214 West Fort Williams Street in Sylacauga. The store brings the company’s unique blend of personal, knowledgeable and helpful service -- paired with quality home maintenance expertise and products -- to Sylacauga residents. 

A ribbon-cutting will be held on Friday at 2 p.m., and a grilling demo and giveaways will be featured on Saturday. Customers will have the chance to enter to win a an Ego Power+ Straight Shaft Battery String Trimmer valued at $250 on Friday and a Weber Spirit II E-210 Gas Grill valued at $459 on Saturday.

Exclusive offers that will be honored in the store include: $10 off the purchase of $25 on Sunday, 50% off one regular-priced item under $30 on Saturday, and a free 5-gallon bucket for the first 200 customers, with an extra 20% off everything that fits in it on Friday. If you have a furry friend, get 50% off one dog wash on Saturday.

“Sylacauga Ace is the place to save big money,” the store said on Facebook. “Just in time to freshen up the home for holiday guests, save 20% off Clark+Kensington, Benjamin Moore and Royal Paint during our official grand opening. This amazing, one-day sale is only happening on Saturday, so mark your calendars and remember to like our page for more reasons to celebrate.” 

The Sylacauga Ace Hardware store was designed to reflect the needs of the local community, in addition to offering products and services customers have come to expect from a full-service Ace store. This includes solutions to everyday home maintenance needs, as well as an extensive array of high-quality products in a variety of categories including paint, lawn and garden, hand and power tools, plumbing, electrical, cleaning, housewares and outdoor living.

Sylacauga Ace Hardware also focuses on providing expert specialty services in lumber and building material, acrylic sheet cutting, glass cutting, screen repair, shipping services, UPS, waste and recycling stickers, paint color matching, key cutting, auto key programming and cutting, glass repair, delivery and assembly, and contractor services. 

The store is packed with thousands of essential products and supplies, including some of the most respected brand names and best-selling items to help people take care of their homes. Key store focuses and product offerings include niche products such as Traeger, Weber, STIHL, Benjamin Moore, Milwaukee, Scotts and many more.

Sylacauga Ace Hardware's hours of operation are: Monday to Friday, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday closed.
