Of the 15,046 people living in Cleburne County, Alabama in 2021, 51% (7,678) were women and 49% (7,368) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by EC Alabama News.

Data showed the average age for women in Cleburne County in 2021 was 44 years, higher than the national average of 40 for women.

According to census data, women aged 18 and over outnumbered men in the same age group by seven. Meanwhile, in the 65 and over group, there were 1,272 men and 1,616 women.
