Of the 81,850 people living in Talladega County, Alabama in 2021, 51.6% (42,253) were women and 48.4% (39,597) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by EC Alabama News.

Data showed the average age for women in Talladega County in 2021 was 42 years, higher than the national average of 40 for women.

According to census data, women aged 18 and over outnumbered men in the same age group by 1,184. Meanwhile, in the 65 and over group, there were 6,610 men and 7,993 women.
