How many people were old enough to vote in Clay County during 2021?

Of the 14,184 citizens living in Clay County in 2021, 78.7% were old enough to vote, equating to 11,167 individuals, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained on Oct. 26.

Further breakdown reveals that of the voting-eligible population, 5,440 were male, constituting 48.7%, and 5,727 were female, making up 51.3%.

The percentage of citizens old enough to vote in Clay County during 2021 was higher than the state average, which stands at 77.5%.
