3.3% of citizens unemployed in Coosa County in 2021

Coosa County recorded an unemployment rate of 3.3% among residents aged 16 and 65 years old in 2021. That’s 143 people out of the 10,442 living in Coosa County at the time, according to data obtained from the U.S. Census Bureau.

The unemployment rate in Coosa County has increased compared to the 2.5% registered in 2020.

The percentage of people unemployed in Coosa County was less than the statewide unemployment rate of 5.4%.
