U.S. Representative Mike Rogers (R-AL), Chairman of the House Armed Services Committee, has issued a statement following the House's passage of H. Res. 1469.

“It’s unacceptable that three years later, no one from the Biden-Harris administration has been held accountable for the catastrophic withdrawal from Afghanistan. The consequences of the withdrawal can be felt today as terror groups strengthen and conflict throughout the Middle East continues to escalate," said Rogers.

He added, “With today’s vote, the House made it clear that the Biden-Harris administration bears full responsibility for the disaster that unfolded in Afghanistan.”
