Mike Rogers, a long-serving U.S. Congressman representing Alabama’s 3rd district, has recently shared several statements on his social media platform regarding legislative initiatives and educational recognitions. Rogers, who has been in office since 2003 after succeeding Bob Riley, is known for his active participation in various legislative matters.

On February 19, 2025, Rogers expressed support for efforts to abolish the estate tax alongside Rep. Feenstra and Leader John Thune. He criticized the tax as "needlessly cruel" to grieving families and contradictory to the American Dream, arguing that it imposes an undue burden on family-run businesses. "I was proud to join @RepFeenstra and @LeaderJohnThune in their efforts to end the estate tax."

The following day, February 20, 2025, he celebrated Future Farmers of America (FFA) Week by acknowledging the impact of agriculture on every life and commending FFA for preparing students for careers in agriculture. "Happy #FFAWeek! Every single life is touched by agriculture."

On February 21, 2025, Rogers announced his co-sponsorship of a resolution recognizing February as Career and Technical Education Month. He highlighted the importance of Career and Technical Education (CTE) in preparing students for successful careers and enhancing Alabama's workforce to attract investments. According to him, over 160,000 students in Alabama have benefited from CTE programs. "I cosponsored a resolution in support of recognizing February as Career and Technical Education Month."
