Talladega College enrolls 1,208 undergrads

At Talladega College, 89 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 51 percent are male, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private not-for-profit institution in Talladega enrolled 1,212 students in fall 2018, including 1,208 in undergraduate and four in graduate programs, data shows. 8.7 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

22 percent of undergraduates are residents of Alabama, and 77 percent are residents of other states.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as Black or African American (85 percent) and Hispanic or Latino (4 percent).
